Pravishti

Bio- Pravishti holds a Master's in social work specialising in Mental Health from TISS Mumbai and a bachelor's in history from the University of Delhi. Her academic journey and community engagements have been shaped by a sustained engagement with questions of gender, caste, sexuality, labour, community mental health, and substance use, with a particular interest in understanding how structures of power shape everyday experiences. 

Beyond academia, she finds joy in crocheting, calligraphy, and spending time with friends. Grounded in a queer feminist perspective, her research interests span across youth mental health, sexual and reproductive rights, and the intersections of climate justice. She hopes to contribute to meaningful research that centres contextually grounded narratives and contributes to more equitable and caring futures.
