Akshara Nair

Akshara Nair holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi, and is pursuing her Master's in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar, Perak, Malaysia. She is also the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Tajurba | Experience, an international e-zine building a platform for emerging and marginalised voices, while simultaneously establishing a psychologically safe, non-traditional workspace.

Akshara serves as the Organisational Development Associate at Youth for Mental Health Foundation, where she is also the Project Coordinator for the Saathi Support Programme under the METROPOLIS Research Programme and the Point of Contact for student volunteers across all partner campuses in Delhi, India. She has previously held the roles of Primary Coordinator of the Second Saathi Recruitment Drive, Public Engagement Coordinator and Youth Researcher — experience that has shaped her people-first approach to leadership, project management, and stakeholder and student coordination and engagement. She aspires to work collaboratively with global organisations to foster a new understanding of non-traditional workspaces, arts, mental health, and psychology.
