Anisha Ray

Anisha is a development professional and researcher with a background in youth engagement, community-based programmes, and social research. She holds a master's degree in development from Azim Premji University and a bachelor's degree in commerce from Gauhati University. Her experience includes working with young people through programmes focused on gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights, leadership, and social action. She has also been involved in programme coordination, facilitation, monitoring, and evaluation. Her research experience includes field-based work exploring livelihoods and community realities, with a focus on understanding people’s lived experiences and perspectives. At Sangath, she contributes to research and programme implementation aimed at making mental health support more accessible and responsive to the needs of young people.
