Noyonika Gupta
Research Coordinator
Noyonika Gupta is a mental health researcher focused on adolescent and youth well-being in educational settings in India. She holds an M.A. in Applied Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Delhi.
Over the past four years, she has worked with NGOs as well as on national, large-scale research and implementation projects focused on strengthening mental health within educational institutions.
Her work focuses on implementation research and developing models that integrate mental health promotion within educational institutions. She has experience designing and evaluating student well-being programs, peer support initiatives, and teacher-engagement strategies aimed at creating more supportive learning environments.
Her interests lie at the intersection of adolescent well-being, systems thinking, and context-driven interventions, with a focus on culturally relevant and scalable approaches. She is particularly interested in promotive and preventive approaches, including the application of positive psychology.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the arts, listening to music, and spending time in nature
